In April Brady came home with a report from school saying he failed his eye exam that they had given him. I was confused since he has never complained of sight problems. It said only one eye failed and it was the stuff that was far away he can't see. So I took him to the eye doctor and sure enough his left eye wasn't up to par and he needed some new glasses. He was actually excited, I was however kind of nervous of broken glasses or them getting missed place somewhere. The good news is he isn't blind so he can take them off during PE class and recess time. So the girl at the office said she wanted Brady to remember one saying, "Keep them on your face or in your case!" So that is our saying if I see them playing with them that's the phrase I use, if I find them somewhere they shouldn't be I use the phrase. He has done really well, and I am glad that he is being so responsible about it.
He looks older with them on, but still cute as a button!
Garrett just wanted in on the action when I pulled the camera out....
Yes I know Garrett is wearing a bright green ring, I could talk about that ring for a long time. He loves it, and takes as good care of it as I do with my wedding ring. I stopped tried talking him out of wearing it and just accepted this little man for who he is. Its been many months and he has never lost it, takes it off when he showers or washes his hands. We just had family pictures taken and he wanted them in the picture. I had to draw a line. But at the end I got her to take one of him with it on just so we can remember his phase of loving all things green.

Love these boys! They ARE growing up; look older. Love that Garrett wants in the picture taking - they're both photogenic; so is Jilly. You've got beautiful kids Dana and Brad! Glad you're keeping track of the glasses and ring, these are keepers. :)
Oh my heavens I love your kids so much! That green ring killed me! I got glasses when I was in fourth grade! He does look older and more distinguished with them on!
