Easter Egg Hunt

Easter was a month ago, and it was a good time, we always have an Easter egg hunt, and they seem to last for days.  There is the initial hunt where I get some good friends to come over and we have a big hunt but then just for fun the boys hide eggs from each other.  And when a friend comes over they hide them again.  Sometimes with candy in them sometimes its just to see if they can find them.  It keeps them entertained for days and I really sort of love it!  We teach the kids the "true" meaning of Easter and talk about it with them.  They are young so they get it at the basic level but I don't know if they really understand what Christ did for them, personally.  One day we will have a more serious chat about it but for now eggs and fun it is, Jillian found her love for Jelly beans.  We call her Jillybean a bunch so its kind of fitting.  Her little checks were chuck full of the sugary treat, so I watched to make sure she wouldn't choke on them.  Its a fear of mine as a mother.  But I'm getting off topic.  Here is the group we had our hunt with.....they are a crazy bunch but always have fun with each other!

 

Harper is one of Garrett's best buddies and she is so stink'n photogenic. 

 Brady for some reason wanted to wear his basket on his head and put all of his eggs in a bowl. He was super excited about how many he got.  Way to much sugar!

Egg hunts are one of my boys favorite things to do!  Glad we can do them with good friends.
