Mowing the Grass

Our backyard needs mowing, Brad has to do it this weekend, but Garrett thought he'd help out. 

 He thought he found something interesting, he told me it was poop.  Only a little boy would find that cool.

 So of course he had to find to his big brother and show it to him.  Turns out it was an acorn.  Big brother was all excited and then a little let down.

 Garrett decided he'd go back to work.

 Trying to see how the lawn mower eats the grass.  Making sure its working right. 

 Pretty proud of himself. 

I was talking with some ladies last night at a book club I go to, and they were talking about teaching children how to "work" and the value of it.  They said to start young.  Does this count?
