Just to hot.

Its just to hot.  There has been a heat wave since we've been back and the end of July feels like an oven.  So we haven't done anything majorly exciting to share.  Just sit, play with friends and go to the splash park a lot.  I almost sat right in the middle of all the hyper kids last week.  It would have looked like I lost my mind sitting next to the babies playing in the fountains but I am not above it. 

So this month of August I plead with you to cool your jets off!  This week everyday is above 100 degrees and humidity is its companion, I know you want to start off with a bang but really lets slow down.  Please.

I saw a picture that someone took of their kids and I thought it was super cute so I decided to mimic it the best that I could.  What do you think?

I took like 5 of these hoping to get one good one and someone isn't looking or talking during it, so this is the best that I got.  But I still love the men in my life, and glad that they are willing to sit for me.  I tried a different pose and Garrett didn't want to look, its the way it always goes isn't it?  Family pictures are the hardest to get!  Garrett just makes me laugh.
