Starting Summer off right

We have not been up to much lately, Brady graduated from preschool and this is his last summer before he starts kindergarten!  Can't believe he will be off to school in a few short months, we will once again have a new phase in our life and so I want to make this a good summer for him before his life changes.  What a better way to start it off than with smor's?!  There was a father-son camp out that Brad took the boys to, and they made some smor's while up there.  They didn't use all the goods so we made some last night! We tried to be a bit different with Strawberry marshmallows!  I had never tried them before but they weren't too shabby. 

Half the time they want to eat the food before we have even made them my boys are suckers for sugar!!

And we don't have a fire pit so we use our gas grill, I know its  a little sad but we work with what we got.  Not matter how they are made the results are the same....

On another note for the first time I tried growing something in a little box garden my dad helped me make.  We planted peas and they have come up!  Garrett went out this morning and helped me pick some.  At first he said he wouldn't eat them but after trying one he wants to eat them all!!

So happy that our little garden worked!  And Garrett is super excited for his Dad to come home from work so he can show him what we picked.  Hooray for summer!  Our next adventure is getting Garrett potty trained and Brady to learn to swim with out any help. Wish us luck!
