Am I Five years old yet?

Brady turned five on Saturday morning. The night before he asked us, "How many more days until I am 5?" I told him NONE, you wake up tomorrow and you are five! He was so happy about it, the next morning he crept into our room woke up his dad and asked, "Am I five yet?" Brad half asleep said, "Yes today you are five buddy."

His day was jammed packed, we went to the store to get icing for his cake. He really wanted a Star Wars cake made out of chocolate. I am not a decorator so we got two figures to add on top and he considered it a "Star Wars' cake. When we got home I made the cake and let it cool while we went out on our traditional lunch date! He got to pick the place and it was Golden Corral this year, because they let you eat as much as you want!

He knew exactly what he wanted, Mac-n-Cheese along with fried shrimp and croutons. Yeah I know odd cuisine, and only two food groups really present but you only turn five once! He also has been trying to perfect the one eyebrow raise. Too cute.

We rushed home because he wanted to play with some friends I had asked to come over and eat cake and Ice cream with him. Again don't judge the cake there is a reason I usually pay people to make cakes for me!

He got what he really wanted Lego's! He has been asking for months and I have been very hesitant because they are so small and easy to lose. But we have an agreement that he will play with them when little brother is asleep and won't mess them up. We shall see how long that goes.....

Anyway that night he went on another date! His Aunt Jenny took him to the movies! He told her, "I had two dates in one day with TWO girls?! " He already knows how rare that is, and is excited about it. He fell asleep on the way he was so worn out. Happy 5th birthday little man!
