Brady was in a wedding last week. Uh huh my friend Ashley who married Nick were married on the 6th in a traditional wedding. Ashely has no younger nephews and Nick is an only child so they needed to use kids of friends to have flower girls and a ring bear. Brady got the job! Ever since I started working at The Children's Place (Ashley was my boss) Brady would come to visit me and fell for Ashley. Always say, "Hi mom where is Ashley?" All in the same sentence. So when she asked me if he could be in I replied, "Um yeah but are you
SURE?" Nick has never met Brady so I insisted that they meet before it was official. So we all went out to dinner so Brady could wooo Nick into thinking this was a good idea.
The audition went well and he was in!! The cutest part was that Brady was going to wear a tux! So I of course became a crazed paparazzi mom and wanted to try and capture the moment!

We practiced a lot going down the isle slowly.....anyone who knows our 4 year old knows that slowly is not really in his personality. But he did so awesome the night before at the rehearsal, he got to the front and gave me the thumbs up sign. We were not sure how well he'd do staying up there the whole time but the flower girls were staying up there so I was hoping he'd do OK. Brad and I were so nervous.

But look at this face should I really worry? That dang bow tie crooked, but I fixed it before the official pictures were taken. While everyone was getting ready I walked around the church with him hoping to calm my nerves.

We found this shed that was painted red and I thought it might be a cute place to take a picture. That is when he decided to start the posing......

He seriously asked to put the sun glasses on I didn't bring it up. We then went into the church and he found a microphone. Oh my gosh, he started singing into it and he came up to me like I was in an audience and in this really low voice says to me, "Whats your name?" I started laughing so hard and was so happy that no one was in there yet!!!
Who is this kid?! Can he be in a real wedding, where two people are committing to each other to love each other for the rest of their lives?
Well I can report that he did great! He started walking ahead of the girls a little bit and saw that he was a little fast so he turned around ran back to them and started over. Once up there he stayed up there for most of the ceremony a little more than half way through he looked at me and stuck his tongue out at me so I had him come and sit with us! Then when it was over he hopped back in line and went out with the wedding party to take formal pictures! Wheew we made it!
Brady with my friend Ashley! Aren't they sweet together?

Watch it buddy she is a married women now! We picked up Garrett and went to the reception where they gorged themselves on candy! All and all it was a great day! Congrats Ashley and Nick!

What a fun experience for both of you! I love that he understood that he needed to go back with the flower girls. I can picture it in my head and it brings a huge smile to my face. He has so much personality. I LOVE IT!!!!!!

I love it!!!! He is so cute. I love that picture of him with the microphone! I can just hear him saying all that stuff!
He's either a Blue's Boy or an Elton John want a be...
The cutest ring bearer ever! I wish I could have been there. So glad it all worked out well for you all.
Love,
Mom
Let's hope he is the Blue's Boy and not an Elton John want a be! He is sooo cute, I wonder who he takes after???
What a handsome guy!!! Really? He looks so grown up, all he needed was a good looking lady on his arm. :D
