School Started weeks ago I know

Brady our oldest is in a home based preschool this year. He with 7 other kids are going to Miss Conn's house to learn. Brady loves school, each morning he wakes up and asks, "Is it a school day?" If I say no, then he asks "Is it a gym day?" Man I workout to much....but I digress. We started school after Labor Day, and for some reason I didn't feel totally prepared. I am use to his busy crazy self around me all the time. His impulsiveness, his voice, just his presence so I when we dropped him off Garrett and I just kind of looked at each other not sure what to do next.

So I went to the gym.

Just me and Garrett, yoga cures all my mind troubles right? When it was over we only had 20 mins. left and again Garrett and I didn't know what to do so we sat in the car for a couple of mins. thank goodness for the DVD player in our car, Garrett just chilled watching a movie. I was thinking as I sat there if I had really prepared our little one to go to school, nope, I decided I did not. He does not even own a backpack for Pete's sake! I did not put him in a brand spanking new out fit like most mom's in fact he wa picking out his own clothes and I told my husband to try and "guide" him so that he'd at least match. I did however take a picture before we left, it might have saved me a tiny speck of grace.

Brad and Brady when left to their own devices of picking out clothing attire......you can never go wrong with Ohio State gear.

When I picked him up he pointed a little boy and said, "Um mom I want to take that boy home with me." That boy?! Uh dude he has a name, learn it. Use it. I respond by explaining that his mommy will be coming to get him but that we can have a play date later. So he settled for a picture with him in front of the bulletin broad.

I'm sure they are becoming best buds.

Sweet lady I hope she knows what she is getting herself into =) So far she ROCKS! She's totally calm and he has really enjoyed it, I have faith it's going to be an awesome year!
