Labor Day/Weekend

We were lucky this weekend and didn't have any huge plans just take in each others company. Jenny my sister in law came from Dallas to visit the boys. I think she might have packed Garrett up and taken him with her if it wasn't his nap time when she was leaving. They bonded over the weekend and it shows!

Saturday was beautiful the rain we had earlier in the week made it so nice we wanted to get out side and enjoy it all, so that is exactly what we did. We got together with some friends (thanks John and Shannon!!) and headed up to Tanyard Creek just up the road from us. We packed up some lunch and toys and off we headed. The boys and I were the only ones who had ever gone up there, so it was a first for the rest of the clan.

Brady learned how to throw a football properly, his coach was meticulous at showing him how to do it right!

Once he got it down then they started to run some plays that were entertaining to watch.

After eating and playing we headed down to the creek.....

Her first time in the creek, Addison loved standing and playing in it, aren't they cute?These pictures would be cute if we were all looking. But I have decided that every year we should go back in September and try again. We can watch our kids get better over the years, hopefully by the time Brady is leaving the house we will get a good one of everyone!!!

Jenny was not into getting into the creek so we got some shots of her with the boys later....I think they are so cute.
