Memorial Weekend Part 1

We are lucky to have a long weekend, and there were no travel plans to speak of! Which kind of makes it nice to do whatever we want to. One of the fun things on the agenda for the weekend was going to Memorial Park and celebrate our little friend's birthday. Lets just call her Princess because that is what every little girl is on her first birthday!

We had a BBQ, and played games, had cupcakes that looked like monkey's, and watched her open presents. Our boys had so much fun playing with little Princess and all of her extended family. Here are some of the highlights.....

Some girls seem so timid about touching the cake, not sure if they really can get away with it, as we are cheering them on.It usually only takes one bit to get them hooked!

Now she is really getting into it!

Love 'em all messy like this! She is so cute! Our family enjoyed eating cupcakes that were decorated like little monkeys Shannon gets points for brilliance!Um.....Brady you have something on your chin buddy. Hee haa ha

Over all it was a blast!
