Our family went to Branson MO, this past weekend to partake in an adventure we've never embarked on-the amusement park. Silver Dollar City has to be the cleanest family friendly park I've ever been to. We had showed the boys online the rides and our oldest was ready to go. So we packed up the mini-van and headed off on our 80 mile trek. We took a road that had many many curves and 24 miles away from our destination, Brady threw up all over
himself. Uh oh, he has inherited my car sickness gene. Sorry buddy, I know how you feel, that was why I was driving. So we pulled over and cleaned him up, it was not pretty to say the least. But he felt better, and when we arrived at our final destination he was ready to go!
The rides were perfect for kids his age, he could go on a bunch of them and even Garrett was tall enough to ride three of the rides. We also partook in a steam engine train ride! Garrett LOVES trains so he was in heaven. We also took in a show, it was The Amazing Dog show. Dogs that could jump rope, do flips, and just make our boys clap their hands and shout with joy.
Here are some pictures of us on the rides:

Brady's first ever roller coaster and they sat in the FRONT SEAT! Fearless I tell you, Fearless.

Garrett's first ride ever, he had a blast going up in down on these frogs.

Those seats are tiny! Your legs can barely squeeze into them, Brad is way to tall so he couldn't ride with Garrett, but he did a ton with Brady.

As soon as he saw these "pirate ships" he was all about going on them. They were fast too!

This was the only ride Garrett got to do alone, and he would wave and smile when he passed us! Love him!

The only ride Brad was nervous about, it lifts you up before the swings start. Brad's a little scared of heights, and he didn't want Brady falling out under the bar.

On our train ride he was soooo happy! Glad we got to sit for 20 mins. and watch this smile.

When Brady threw up we only had his swim shorts so we put those on him and stopped at the Dollar General to pick up a shirt. The swim shorts were for this part of the park. That happy boy is standing there waiting for boats to float by so he can squirt them! It was a hot sunny day and he loved that the boats were equipped with guns to squirt him back. He wanted to get on the boat but the wait was over an hour, so he just settled for the land guns. Happy happy camper.

My family at the end of the day on the tram back to our car. After getting up at 6:15 a.m. and going strong all day long, being tired, hungry and hot they still have these smiles on. I'm so lucky to have these guys!!!

Did the van get thrown up all over? SORRY! Car sick is ick. Glad Brady had his swim shorts and that Dollar General was close and that Garrett didn't throw up too. Blessings. And do these guys look happy or what! Even Brad. Yay!
Oh, Dana, I just love that you have happy little boys and a happy big boy (Brad) too. I'm so glad you are making happy memories for your family (minus the car sickness), you can thank your dad for that gene. Those smiles just melt my heart.
Love,
Mom
