Are you feeling Wicked?

Wow-is all I can say. Actually that isn't true I can say a ton more about that play. It was so good! I was highly impressed with the actors, the seats we had, how they changed from scene to scene and no problems occurred. The music was so amazing, I almost didn't realize there was an orchestra playing they were flawless. I took some pictures inside, which I later found out was forbidden. Whoops! But I never used my flash so no harm right? And it was not during the performance. This is what I saw behind me from our seats.....

They had a map of OZ up with the Emerald Glow coming off of it. Brad has heard the music but has not read the book, which is fine because they aren't the same. So when were looking at this map I was telling him about the book. This is from where we were sitting. The map is in the book, so you can tell where the characters are from.

Brad is the Simon Cowell of my world, he thinks he could judge American Idol, and so these actors had a tall order to fill. I asked him half way through if they passed his judgements and he said yes. He even admitted in another life it would be fun to be a broad way actor. If you had the talent and guts to do that sort of thing......

Over all I'd give it a 10, go and see it. You won't be disappointed.

I LOVE Wicked! I also LOVE being wicked (sometimes). I took both of my girls (separate trips) to New York at the end of their senior years of high school. We saw Wicked both times . . . it was just magical. I'm so glad you got to see it. Give my regards to Simon! Love, Sandra

Dana, you're so cute - I love your blog! Glad you guys had fun. And Brad totally thinks he is Simon Cowell, the judge of all things musical. We're a little snobbish like that in our family. In case you didn't know.

Glad you went...we were in the nosebleeds of the nosebleed section....literally the back row, but even from all the way up there, it was still the most awesome show. I loved the characters and the music!

I'm glad you got to see it! I've seen it a 3 times and loved it every time! I even got Zach to go with me once and he said it was "good". That's the best praise he's ever given any sort of musical so I know he liked it too!

I am feeling WICKED! I'm so happy you got to go. Ever since we went to Noelle's and listened to the sound track I've been dying to go. We went in April and I think I smiled for the entire show.
When I saw you pics I thought, "Hey,they we couldn't take pics." Glad they were easy on you, probably because you're so cute and sweet.
They switched Alphabas in the middle of the show (I thought the second one was better) and was suprised at how funny Galenda was.
