The Day BEFORE the Trip.

We are leaving tomorrow to go on a "Trip" as Brady would say. Its for nine days, and we get to head west to see some loved ones. I've been thinking how different I view going on our trip and how Brady is viewing it. The day before a vacation for me is always so busy. No matter how much a I prepare, I seem to always get really busy the day before a trip. My day began like this:

4:30 a.m. Garrett wakes up crying. Go in soothe and finally nurse him back to sleep.

5:00 fall back asleep.

7:10 Love of my life wakes up me. Take a fast shower before kids wake up.

7:30 Brady wakes up,Kiss the love of my life before he heads to work, start laundry.

8:00 Garrett wakes up, feed boys breakfast, brush teeth, change clothes.

8:45 March kids out the door and over to friend S's house so she can watch kids for me.

9:00 Sitting at the county Assessor's office pay get Assessed, pay taxes, register car for the year.

9:45 Rush over the the doc's office to get stitches out. (Had minor surgery last week no biggie).

10:10 Finish and rush to walmart for last min. items and a gift for baby shower.

11:00 pick up kids thank S repeatedly!

11:45 Friend brings her kids over while she goes to dentist to get wisdom teeth pulled, I feel for her!

12:00 Making mac and cheese for 4 kids who love it!

1:00 Put Garrett down for nap, take 3 older kids outside to play.

1:30 My Friends kids get picked up.

1:45 Cuddle with Brady till he falls asleep.

2:00 sit down, realize I didn't eat lunch, get up make lunch and clean up kitchen.

2:45 Start laundry load number 2, make bed from the morning put load number one on bed.

3:15 Start folding clothes, Brady wakes up.

3:45 Garrett wakes up, start packing for our trip, get our suit cases, and clothes, Brady tries to "help" pack, clean up house from all the toys, Brady pee's his pants,

5:30 Love of life comes home kiss, make dinner, and then clean kitchen.

6:30 Drop of watermelon at a neighbor's so it doesn't spoil while gone head to baby shower.

7:00 Party at the baby shower, win two games (yes!) and come home with treat for the love of my life.

9:15 p.m. get THE phone call, our friends had their baby girl!!! Congrats John and Shannon!

9:45 sit down to read email, realize I still have only packed the BOYS not my self, and decide to post this instead. I need to go to bed!

Brady on the other hand just is happy to be going, and won't leave his suit case as he calls it out of his sight. Only focusing on the good of this trip. I need to be more like him.

This is Brady when he first woke up he only had a moment to watch the cartoons....

The second one he's eating his cereal.

Waking up from a nap. Had to have it near at all times, in case I spontaneously decided that we needed to leave now, instead of tomorrow when we are suppose to.

P.s. yeah I know his sheets are mauve and pink its a post for another day.....
