On July 13th just a few days after Garrett's birthday the Chick-fil-A in our town had free food if you dressed up like a cow. My boys totally were up for it, they have no shame when it comes to their favorite chicken nuggets! So when Jillian went down for her nap Brady put on this......
its a bunny costume, in fact its a very old bunny costume that I wore when I was his age! He wanted to turn it into a cow. Never mind its a HOT costume and it was 100 degrees outside. When he commits to something he commits. We got out the black construction paper to start the project and I kept telling him you don't need the gloves how will you eat? You are going to be sooo hot, lets just do the ears. So finally they covered the pink ears in black to make a hat, and changed his look to this....
He's our shy cow, willing to do it because of his big brothers fearless lead.
When we got there a good friend brought some black make up to "add more paint to the face" Brady needed the full look. He was proud to walk in there and get him some chicken! I just have to shake my head and say good job for my kids have such a great attitude and positive spin on life. Always a party with these two! Brady even got him self on the Chick-fil-A facebook page. He suddenly felt famous! Gotta laugh at what we do for the free food! How do you score free food for your brood?
This is the picture on facebook it won't format perfectly so its cutting out part of it, but you get the idea!
