Thanksgiving

We had such a good time this year during Thanksgiving that I didn't take many pictures!  Uncle Scott came to visit us which we were very excited for, my sons love him and were very excited that he was making the trip to see us.  We ate dinner with our good friends the Huffords and made tons of food!  We brought a ham and some sides and they did a turkey so everyone had lots to choose from, not enough room on our plates!  In fact this picture below of the table actually didn't even have the platter of ham on it!

Afterwards we went over to John Huffords parents house and had pies, ohhh they were all so good!  I was stuffed!  Of course we played Catch phrase its a tradition, and always a good time.    We also played some guitar hero as well, Addison loved to dance to the music and was cracking us up.
She's gonna have a future in music this one.

On one of the days Brad had off we went to the park because it was so nice outside.  The fall here has been awesome and really long we take advantage of being outside when ever we can here.

Brady pretends that part of the playground is a store of some kind, on this day he was selling ice cream!
Garrett loves the swings, he will stay on them as long as you are willing to push him.  Next year he has to learn to pump his little legs.

That weekend Brad was itching to put up a tree so we got ours out only to see how its so small and ghetto looking.  We have had it for years and its just taking a beating, we got it when we were living in an apartment so it fit that space but we wanted to try something different this year.  I grew up with live trees so this year we went for it.  This is pre-decor, its really fat at the bottom, and I love it.

After attempting to decorate it, we let the boys help so you get what you get when a 5 and 3 year take the reins.

Now we just need to fill under the tree with presents!  Merry Christmas everyone!

I love your tree. I didn' know you got a real tree. Make sure you keep it watered or it will dry out fast. I'm so excited to see you all soon!! Love those pics!

I am jealous of the real tree! I love it. Alice just learned to pump her legs on the swing-it's the best!

This makes me happy. Love the pics; I hope you enjoy the sight of the tree every morning when you wake and at night when the lights are on. It's beautiful!

Looks like it was a fun Thanksgiving. It is so nice when they learn how to do the swing themselves and you can just enjoy watching. The store thing with Brady is just another way he is alike with Brigham and Isaac. They like to pretend they are running a movie store.
