Trick or Treating/Toyland.

The boys did indeed went it was kind of crazy because they were so hyper, and we kept trying to keep Brady clam but I sent them out with Brad and some friends while I gave candy to trick or treaters.  They came back after half the neighborhood was complete and then we switched.  They were not nearly as into  the walking around so we did two streets and came home to the spoils.  I surprised I thought free candy at each house lets keep going but alas I told them to head home, we were done.

We also carved a pumpkin like we always do and Garrett seemed the most excited about it.  He just kept wanting to all day but I told him we have to wait until Brady gets home from school and Brad from work.  Dinner was eaten in record time and we got right to it.

Its always fun to see them all lite up, glad that we do this tradition.

This past Friday was the first Friday of the month and at the Bentonville Square they always have vendors and a stage set up with all kinds of stuff to look at and do.  This week was ToyLand theme, the weather was nice and so we decided to go, especially because you could see a real life size Lighting McQueen, Mater, and Flynn McMissle.  It was madness.  Everyone in Bentonville and the surrounding areas was there.  Part of me was having fun, the other part was ready to go after before we even parked because I knew this was going to be chaos.  It took us a while to find parking and even after Brad came to meet me, it was still nuts.  If you had an kind of claustrophobic tendencies you would have had a melt down.  We tried to take pictures by the cars not much success....

We had to be quick because everyone else was trying to do the same thing, and half the time you had some random person in the shot.  But the boys loved every minute of looking at them, and they were giving out free key chains to boot, the spoiling began as we started seeing all kind of vendors giving stuff away for free.  We found a Lego stand and they had Lego's to give a way and play with.

We had to drag Brady away he kept wanting to go back but there was so many other things to try out. They had these Buzz light year cars you could ride for free as well. Garrett really wanted to try it out, so of course we let him! He's a little big for them though...

Then there were the mascots Brady wanted to go and see them Garrett almost cried getting near them, there were all kinds though but it was starting to get late and we were hungry so we went with some friends to the close Chick-fil-A thinking everyone is at the square so no one will be there right?  Um.........no I think everyone decided to do the same thing.  Over all the kids were having a good time so we have to say it was fun even if I was a little nervous that I might loose one of them.

Oh, the things we do to make magic for our kids. A little stressful for the parents but your kids will only remember how much fun they had! Good for you for doing fun stuff with your boys.

I am going to go home and show Brigham and Isaac. They will think this is the coolest thing ever. They would be heaven with Cars, Legos, and Buzz. Its funny how similar the boys are to each other. Glad Brady and Garrett had such an amazing time.
