The day after Christmas we went to my parents house in Cookeville Tennessee. Its a small college town and my mom grew up there on the outskirts of town. She comes from a LARGE family so when we go back there we get to see a lot of my cousins, aunts, and uncles. We went to my aunts house for lunch and I got her to take this picture of my family, since we are not all around each other very often.My brother and I don't have very many pictures with each other so he was a good sport and let me take one of us together.
On of the fun things
we did was play the Kinnect that week. Oh my goodness has anyone played that game system? Your whole body is the controller and you do all kinds of moving around. We have a sports game so you can box, run races and do track and field events, its a work out. I was sweating my the time I was finished. Brady was our champion boxer, he knocked everyone out, it is a good way to get his energy out on a cold winters day. Its so funny to watch others do it, and the game takes pictures and video's of you playing and at the end of the game shows them to you. Hilarious!!!

That week we also took the kids to The Children's Museum and to a train depot while we here and had a really fun time at my parents New Year Eve's Party. At the Children's museum they were having a new year eve's party so they had a magician come and preform. Brady loved it!!! One of the things he did was pull a white dove out of his hat. The dove was suppose to fly around the room and come back to him but it took a detour and landed on top of Brad's head!!! Oh how the kids howled with laughter, my husband does not like being in the spot light when it comes to shows but he was really good about it. He just let it walk on to his finger and handed it back to the magician. 
I thought this was the cutest idea they took pretend apples and put magnets on the bottom of them and then stuck them to a fake tree, so the kids could apple picking. They also had a fake garden to pick from and chickens to get eggs from. So smart!!!

Laughing about the dove landing on Brad's head! Looks like everyone had fun, especially the boys at the museum. They're all over it. Miss you all! :)
Looks like so much fun!!! I am sad that we missed it. That children's museum looks awesome. We miss you guys.
