We thought we had won the battle...

On Friday night there were some friends who live in the neighborhood next to us that had a fireworks show. It was nice and Brady was really into it! Whew! He laughed with some friends as they sat excited each time one would go off. Aren't they all so cute?















At one point he sat with his dad, but was still doing well. I thought for sure that we had made a break through and he'd be fine the next night at our other friends house we were going to.









He did sparklers or as he called them sparklee's.















We got a group shot before it became dark, because all the night shots are blurry. I'm still not that great at taking night pictures.

We had this one kind of firework that shot out parachutes with army guys. The boys loved that one! That is what Brady has his hands on.....

Unfortunately when the night came and they put the "big" fireworks on, we were a little too close for Brady's comfort. He put his hands over his ears at first. I thought if one of us held him maybe he'd warm up to them. But to no avail he said, "mom they are to scary" And ran inside down stairs and watched The Jungle Book movie. Oh well, progress is progress right?

Garrett however did well and then passed out because it was past his bedtime. Next year we will just sit far away and all will be well. Hope everyone had a good fourth of July! We love our country and are grateful that we live here in the good old USA.
