He did it! He did it!

I have to brag about my wonderful husband for a moment! He did a 5K Race this sat. and I'm so proud of him. He found some friends to run with him (the girls ran the 1 mile; boys 5K) and off they went. First let me just it was so cold the temp was 43 degrees and the wind was so strong! They had to run into the wind on the last part and Brad's eyes were watering!! But he had two goals for this race 1. Do stop run the WHOLE way 2. Run the race in 30 min.s
I'm happy to announce he did both! He ran it in 26:31, much faster than he thought he could do it in!

Brady however happy he was for his dad did not want to be out done and as soon as the group left he was taking off trying to run after them. He was very excited to see his dad end the race and wanted to cross the finish line with him. So we reenacted the ending and they came in hand and hand across the finish line! Our family is becoming a bunch of runners!!

anyway... wow, brad! awesome! i think bruce would rather cut off his left pinkie finger than run anything over a mile that didn't involve chasing a ball.
