Still Partying After the 4th....

After the 4th of July the kids and I parted ways with Brad and headed to my parents new house (in Cookeville Tennesee) for the week. Work held my husband back as it often does for most husbands, but my parents house isn't going any where so no tears here. The boys got to also see my brother, Andrew and my Uncle Pete who traveled all the way from Maryland to see my parents new house and spend time with us as well. We felt very lucky to see them both. We did all kinds of stuff with them: The Train Depot.
My brother Andrew and Brady sitting inside the train. Brady pulling the cord to ring the bell at the top of the train. He didn't want to stop until we told him we'd go get some ice cream! It has been very hot there and so we had a bunch of cool treats to partake in. Garrett loves to ask for his ice cream cone, and he says it in such a cute way. Its hard to say no, I give in way to easily.
We also went to Chattanooga where I went spent four years living when I was in high school. I ate lunch with a friend/neighbor that I had not seen in years (it was fun Jay!) We went here with the boys afterwards:
This place rocks it has fountains to play in and a carousel to ride, my boys were in heaven....as you can see. Then we headed up to the mountain, our house was on top of this mountain that surrounds Chattanooga. Its called Signal Mountain, my sister had a best friend that lived in the same neighborhood as us. She is now all grown up and having babies of her own, so we had to stop by the see the little guy. This picture is to make my sister jealous she still has not gotten a chance to have a face to face with him.

My mom has a magic touch he hadn't been sleeping all day and she just held him and hugged on him and he fell right to sleep in her arms. With my two boys running around and all of us talking it was noisy in there but he just snuggled up to her and went to sleep! Martha your baby is beautiful! We had a great time visiting old places that brought back such good memories. Next post coming up: Garrett's 2nd birthday party!
